HAROLD SHAWLEE, Obituary

LOS ANGELES Harold P. "Hal" Shawlee, 78, died on Wednesday, April 10, 2002, at his home in Los Angeles, Calif.

There will be no memorial services and following cremation, his ashes will be scattered at sea.

Harold was born in Havre to Rose Mary and Jim Shawlee on Oct. 21, 1923. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and was honorably discharged on March 1, 1946, with the rank of master technical sergeant.

Shawlee was a chamber of commerce executive in Riverside and San Bernardino, Calif. He was then employed by the Western Oil and Gas Association in Los Angeles. He then work...
