EMILY DAVIS, Obituary

Emily Caroline Davis, 66, died Friday, May 17, 2002, at a Havre hospital of natural causes.

The funeral service will be at the Eagles Manor, Thursday, May 23, 2002, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Brad Ulgeness officiating. A private family committal ser-

vice will follow at the Highland Cemetery. A fellowship reception will be held at the Eagles Manor following the funeral service.

Emily was born to William C. and Alyce (Jensen) Beavens, July 27, 1935, in Barr. She attended the Montana School for the Deaf and Blind in Great Falls. The family later moved to Bremerton, Wash. She married Rea Davis on July 27, 1957, in Bremerton.

After the death of her husband, she moved to Havre to be near her mother and her daughter and family. She resided at the Eagles Manor with her mother and enjoyed the opportunity to be with friends.

Emily enjoyed puzzles, painting, visiting with friends, playing board and card games, socializing, visiting and helping out at her uncle's farm north of Hinsdale. She also loved movies and owned just about every Disney movie ever made.

She was preceded in death by her father, William C. Beavens; sister, Andrea Tinney; daughter, Rhoda Peterson; son-in-law, James Peterson.

She is survived by her mother, Alyce Beavens of Havre; granddaughter, Kiera Peterson of Havre; grandson, Derek Peterson of Havre; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Memorials in Emily's honor may be made to First Lutheran Church, 625 Fourth Ave., Havre, MT 59501, Montana School for the Deaf and Blind, 3911 Central Ave., Great Falls, MT 59405, or to a person's choice.

Services and arrangenments are under the direction of Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
