KRISTIN CRAIG, Obituary

POTSDAM, N.Y. Kristin L. Craig, 52, died Friday, May 31, 2002, at her home in Potsdam following a long illness with cancer.

Funeral services were scheduled for 11 a.m. today at St. Francis of Assisi Newman Center in Potsdam with the Rev. Timothy Canann officiating. Burial will be in the Bayside Cemetery in Potsdam.

Kristin was born Oct. 1, 1949, in Sacramento, Calif., to George R. and Betty (Jaraczeski) Bandy. She graduated from Havre High School in 1967 and from Eastern Montana College in Billings in 1972. She received her M.S. in reading from SUNY Potsdam in 1982.

Kristin married David Craig on March 20, 1971, in Notre Dame University Log Chapel. They lived in the Hannawa Falls and Potsdam area since 1977.

Kristin was a member of the New York State Teachers Association, National Education Association, and Delta Kappa Gamma. She was an elementary teacher at St. Lawrence Central School in Brasher Falls.

Kristin is survived by her husband, David Craig; daughters, Jennifer Martin of Rochester, N.Y., and Ellen Craig of Minneapolis; brothers, Thomas Bandy of Houston, Texas, and John Bandy of Helena; sister, Kelly Maki of Great Falls; two grandsons; mother and stepfather, Betty and John Mora of Great Falls; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are by Seymour Funeral Home in Potsdam.
