Meetings set on management plan


The federal Bureau of Land Management has scheduled 11 open houses to provide information about its planned resource management plan for the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument and identify issues to address in the plan.

The meetings scheduled are:

July 8, Winifred High School cafeteria in Winifred;

July 9, BLM Office meeting room in Lewistown;

July 10, Big Sandy High School auditorium in Big Sandy;

July 11, the agricultural museum in Fort Benton

July 15, Best Western Great Northern Inn, Havre

July 16, Chinook Motor Inn, Chinook

July 17, Cleveland Hunting Inn, Cleveland

July 18, Malta High School, Malta

July 22, Hays Senior Center, Hays

Aug. 5, BLM/U.S. Forest Service Office, Great Falls

Aug. 6, Hampton Inn, Billings
