Triangle Telephone announces work near Beaver Creek Road

Triangle Telephone Cooperative and Hill County Electric Cooperative have to move telephone and power facilities in various locations along the Beaver Creek Highway to accommodate new road construction.

During the next few weeks, colored flags will mark the areas where new temporary and permanent lines will be going. These flags will not indicate changes in the road location. According to the Department of Transportation, there will be no noticeable changes to the existing centerline of the road.

New poles will be placed away from the road for temporary telephone cables and will be removed after road construction is finished.

Questions about the telephone and power line activities along the Beaver Creek Highway can be directed to Robert Pleninger of Triangle Telephone at 394-7807 or Rollie Miller of Hill County Electric at 394-7804.
