SGA hosts annual carp shoot

The Sweet Grass Archers hosted their annual Father's Day Carp Shoot on June 15 at Lake Elwell and the Marias River below Tiber Dam.

A total of 35 shooters retrieved a total 3514 pounds and seven ounces of carp.

The first-place team went to Bob Reishus and Howard Wall with a total of 788.5 pounds. The first-place men's was awarded to Rodger Allick with 213.6 pounds and first-place women's went to Pat Allick with 78.4 pounds. the first-place youth award went to Francis Reishus with 184.6 pounds.

The biggest fish award was a tie between Rodger Allick and Jim Jensen at 16.4 pounds. The smallest...
