Lipp added to MCC roster

Havre Northstars standout pitcher Eric Lipp will join the baseball team at Miles Community College in the spring.

Lipp, a 5-foot-9 left-handed pitcher, struck out 99 batters and walked only 31 in 84 innings last year. He tossed 10 complete games and led the team with a 10-2 record and a 2.99 ERA.

"Eric is a terrific kid and shows much promise as a college pitcher," Pioneers head coach Rob Bishop said. "He has shown unusual command of his pitches and will give our program another quality left-handed pitcher in the coming years."
