RED VIALL, Obituary

SPOKANE, Wash. Everett "Red" Viall, 57, also known by his CB handle, "Two Stroke," died at his home in Spokane, Wash., on Tuesday, July 2, 2002, of natural causes.

Cremation has taken place. No services are planned.

Red was born Aug. 13, 1944, to Everett and Pearl Coppage in Tuppenish, Wash. His father died on Dec. 18, 1944, during World War II in Europe. At 3, Red was adopted by Gale Viall after his mother remarried. He grew up in Hyannis, Neb., and went to trade school in Milford, Neb.

He married Wanda Kenney and this union two children were born. In 1973, the family moved to Havre. Red worked as an auto mechanic at various shops,

including

Les Blair's Technical Services, from 1974-79. In 1978, Red and Wanda Viall (Haas) divorced. Around 1979, Red married Sandy Prosser. They had one child.

They moved to Spokane and separated a few years later. While in Spokane, Red worked as an auto mechanic.

In the late 1980s to about 1993, he worked summers in Nebraska on his cousins' ranches.

Red liked fishing, playing cards and watching his older son drag race.

He was preceded in death by his biological father, Everett O. Coppage Jr.; adoptive father, Gale Viall, and mother, Pearl Martin.

Survivors include his sons, Dave Viall of Spokane, Wash., Monty (Eileen) Viall of Havre, and Mike Viall of Westport, Wash.; grandchildren, Josh and Amanda Viall of Havre; brother, Dave (Claudia) Viall of Havre; sisters, Helen Curran of Broken Bow, Neb., and Barbara Clark of Kearney, Neb.
