ROBERT HANSEN, Obituary

MT. VERNON, Wash. Robert "Bob" Hansen, 87, of Mt. Vernon, Wash., formerly of Havre, died Wednesday, June 12, 2002, at his residence.

Robert was born in Egland, N.D. The family moved to Montana in 1924.

He worked for the state Highway Department in Havre and also farmed south of Fort Assinniboine and around Hamilton. Then the family moved to Washington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John R. and Emma Hansen; sister, Lucille Reynold; brothers, John and Bill Hansen.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Violet

Hansen; sons, Robert B. Hansen, Larry Hansen, Richard (Kristine) Hansen, all of Washington state; sister, Genevieve Paulson of Chinook, and Donna Mae Hanson and Emma Gene Gross of Arizona; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
