LARRY CHAMBERLAIN, Obituary

Larry LeRoy Chamberlain, 35, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2002, at his home in Havre from an apparent heart attack.

Prayer service will be 7:30 p.m. today at the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Big Sandy. Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday at the same church with Fr. Pete Guthneck

officiating. Military burial is to follow at the Big Sandy Cemetery. Luncheon to follow at the Catholic Church provided by the Catholic Altar Society.

Larry was born Oct. 14, 1966, in Malta to Delbert and Elizabeth (Otto) Chamberlain. Larry spent his school years in Big Sandy and graduated from High School in1985 from Fort Benton High School. He then enlisted in the Army, serving four years and finishing up as a Specialist 4 in the U. S. Army.

He returned to Big Sandy where he started to learn the business of welding from his stepdad, John Brown, at Brown's Welding in Big Sandy. He then attended Montana State University-Northern for three years studying welding, machining, computers, and various other subjects. He taught a couple of welding classes to fill in for a professor. Larry was on the honor roll each year. He was involved with the student association. After finishing university, Larry worked at different businesses such as Big Equipment, United Agro Products, and where he was currently employed, Frontier Lawn and Landscaping. Larry also had a computer business and iron ornamental business on the side, which kept him quite busy.

Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, being with his family, and especially helping people.

Larry was preceded in death by his dad, Delbert Chamberlain in 1975; infant sister, Connie Lynn in 1963; niece, Michelle Fell in 2000; maternal grandparents, and paternal grandparents

Larry is survived by his mother and stepdad, John and Elizabeth (Chamberlain) Brown of Big Sandy; sisters, Sandra (Darrell) Newbury and family of Havre, Barbara Fell and family of Havre, Carolyn (Dwayne) McNernie of Canada, Linda (Dale) Stanford and family of Washington state; brother, Kenneth Chamberlain and family of Wolf Point; stepbrothers, Richard (Kathy) Brown and family of Havre and Johnnie (Brenda) Brown and family of Oklahoma; stepsisters, Karen Eardinger and family of Helena, Sharon (Gary) Brookway of East Helena; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Memorials may be made to a person's choice.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home in Havre.
