WILLIAM HANNICKER, Obitaury

William E. Hannicker, 62, a U.S. Navy veteran, passed away Friday, July 12, 2002, at the Miles City Veteran's Home following a lengthy illness.

Funeral service is 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Holland and Bonine Funeral Chapel with Pastor Rowlie Hutton officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Highland Cemetery.

William was born May 23, 1940, to Clifford E. and Opal Hannicker at Havre.

Our gratitude and appreciation to the Medical and Nursing Staff at the VA Medical Centers in Salt Lake City, Fort Harrison, and Miles City, and the VA Clinic in Great Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Opal Hannicker.

He is survived by his sisters Joan (Charles) Clay of Yorba Linda, Calif., and Minnie McCann of Harlem; nieces, Christine Clay (Jeff) Williams, Colleen McCann (Mike) Lillie, and Quinn McCann (Tim) Lattig; and nephews, Matthew (Laura), Steve (Pia), Paul (Mary Ann), Curtis (Marji) and Brent McCann.
