ROCKY BOY Emerence Delores "Tiny" Morsette Flasche, 83, retired homemaker, died Tuesday, July 30, 2002, at a Boise, Idaho, hospital after a lengthy illness.

The wake began Friday night at the Rocky Boy Catholic Church. Funeral service was at 11 a.m. on Saturday also at The Rocky Boy Catholic Church with the Rev. Pete Guthneck officiating. Burial was to follow at the Rocky Boy Cemetery.

Tiny was born Sept. 24, 1918, to John and Elizabeth "Elise" Morsette at Rocky Boy. She attended schools in North Dakota. On June 14, 1937, she married Dave L. Flasche in Kellogg, Idaho. To this union, two children were born. Dave was a coal miner until he retired. Tiny worked as a health care professional for many years. Dave preceded her in death.

Tiny and Dave were such avid baseball fans that when the Boise Hawks won the Regional Tournament, they honored this couple with the trophy. Tiny and Dave also enjoyed pow wows, Indian dancing, sewing, and fishing. She won several fishing trophies.

When Tiny was widowed, she opened her home to the Boise, Idaho, community. Her generosity is legendary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elsie Morsette; husband, Dave L. Flasche on Aug. 14, 1968; brothers, Bill, Joe, Tony, Lewis, Robert, and Clarance; sisters, Alvina and Mary (Opal).

She was survived by her sister, Florence Lentz of Pomona, Calif .; sister-in-law, Delia Morsette of Rocky Boy; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Services and arrangements were under the direction of the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
