Art on the Avenue offers a variety of booths

A variety of booths are scheduled to be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. during Art on the Avenue on Aug. 17.

Booths offering merchandise for sale include:

A&S Antiques of Havre, in front of Wells Fargo;

Sherry Strong of Havre with antiques, in front of Wells Fargo;

Ginny Streeper of Havre offering fine art inside the Atrium Mall;

Becky Ross of Havre offering original watercolors at Cavaliers;

Don Ream of Great Falls offering fine art and bronze sculptures at the Heritage Center;

Vicky Campbell and Kris Shaw of Havre offering fine art, note cards and jewelry at the Heritage Center;

Gary Dues of Great Falls offering pottery at the Heritage Center;

Alaina Beasley of Great Falls offering original watercolors at the Heritage Center;

Bruce Horton of Great Falls offering paintings and drawings at the Heritage Center;

Craig Waldron of Chester offering glass art and stained glass in front of J.M. Donoven Designs.

Arts and crafts workshops offered at the event include:

Quilting at the Crazy Quilters at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.;

Framing at the High Plains Gallery from 1 to 2 p.m.;

Flower arranging at Petal Pushers in the Atrium from 1 to 2 p.m.;

"Sweet Creations" at the Candy Bouquet from 2 to 3 p.m.;

Papermaking with Steve Helmbrecht in Room 206 of the Heritage Center from 10 to 11 a.m.;

Cake decorating with Alma Seidel in Room 206 of the Heritage Center from 11 a.m. to noon;

"Ye Ole Christmas Card Hugs & Kisses Box" with Debe VandenBoom in Room 302 of the Heritage Center from 11 a.m. to noon;

Rock art with Cindy Norton in Room 206 of the Heritage Center from noon to 1 p.m.

The "Cup that Quacks" with Valerie Wilkerson in Room 302 of the Heritage Center from noon to 1 p.m.;

Rubber stamping and drying flowers with Hazel Nugent in Room 206 of the Heritage Center from 1 to 2 p.m.;

"Kid's Apple Bingo" with Mandy Randolph in Room 302 of the Heritage Center from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.;

Women-only fitness with Curves For Women in the third floor courtroom of the Heritage Center from 1 to 4 p.m.;

"Magazine Magnets" with Valerie Wilkerson in Room 206 of the Heritage Center from 2 to 3 p.m.

People can register for workshop by calling individual businesses sponsoring the workshops or the Heritage Center for workshops scheduled there. People are urged to register in advance.
