St. Pierre tourney on tap

The third annual Guy St. Pierre Memorial Slowpitch Softball Tournament will be played on Aug. 17-18 at the Havre Slowpitch complex south of town. The tournament is open to any team interested in playing. Teams from Havre, Rocky Boy, Chester, Joplin and Chinook have participated in the prior tournaments.

Entry fee for the tournament is set at $150, with a three-game guarantee. Round robin play will seed teams into the double elimination tournament. Over-35 rules will be used for the tournament.
