Skylights sign Fort Benton basketball player

The Skylights women's basketball team has signed Kristal Lohse, a 5-foot-10 freshman forward/post from Fort Benton.

Lohse averaged 13.1 points a game and eight rebounds, and also had 47 steals on the year.

She was an academic all-state player with a 4.0 grade point average.

During her time with the Longhorns, she played at two state tournaments. The Longhorns finished second her junior year.

"She comes from a great program that knows how to win," Skylights coach Mike Erickson said. "That alone will make her successful in this league."
