Festival Day Parade entry forms are available

Entry forms for the Havre Festival Days Parade are available at the Havre Area Chamber of Commerce. Early registration is required. The parade is Sept. 21.

The parade will start at Havre High School and head north on Fifth Avenue. Instead of turning west on First Street, the parade will turn west onto Second Street, proceed west to Third Avenue and turn south on Third Avenue to Fourth Street, where the parade will end.

Candy cannot be thrown from any of the floats or vehicles. Groups with floats or vehicles should have a walker to pass out candy to parade watchers.

All floats will be judged the morning of the parade, starting at 9:30 a.m. Awards will be given in the following categories: best commercial float, best noncommercial float and mayor's choice. The judging will be based on the best use of the theme "A Celebration of Havre's Heritage."
