PATRICIA MOORE, Obituary

MOOREVILLE, Miss. Patricia Vaughn Trexler Moore, 57, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, at her home in Mooreville, Miss., after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues Funeral Home with the Rev. Sammy Washburn and the Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial will be at Lee Memorial Cemetery.

Patricia was born in Havre to James Eli and Loretta Pearce Vaughn on Jan. 21, 1945.

Patricia was the director of Food Services at Harrisburg Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, growing flowers, collecting frogs, baking wedding cakes and celebrating special occasions with her family and her friends at Harrisburg Baptist Church. She was a devoted homemaker and a member of Mooreville United Methodist Church.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ellis H. Trexler; brother, Roger Vaughn.

Survivors include her husband, Rodney of Mooreville; son, Monty J. Trexler of Mooreville; daughter, Janette (Rodney) Trexler Watson of Mooreville; brothers, Chuck Vaughn and Bill Vaughn, both of Havre, and John Vaughn of Williston, N.D.; sisters, Janice Whaley and Karen Olsen, both of Havre, Margaret Hanson of Choteau, and Helen Heilg of Lewistown; sister-in-law, Shirley Hattaway of Mooreville; mother-in-law, Edna Montgomery of Mooreville; one grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Pat Moore China Fund at Harrisburg Baptist Church or to the Van Fund of Mooreville United Methodist Church.
