MT Pheasants Forever Chapters are raffling off a two-day youth hunting trip along the Milk River.
The Big Sky Heritage Hunt is being donated by Montana Breaks Outfitters of Hinsdale and sponsored by Pheasants Forever.
The Havre area chapter has begun selling the raffle tickets and will have a booth at the Havre Gun Show later this month. Robert J. Markwardt of Pheasants Forever in Havre said the drawing will be held Oct. 10 in Lewistown.
The winning youth hunter will be allowed to take one adult along at no cost. The trip includes accommodations and meals, but the hunters will be responsible for their own transportation to the site and possession of valid Montana hunting licenses.
The winner has to be 15 or under at the time of the hunt, which is open only to Montana kids.
The raffle tickets go for $10 and can be purchased from Darwin Anderson in Rudyard at 355-4163, Wally Duchscher in Havre at 265-7314, or Markwardt at 265-7093.
Every youth who buys a ticket will receive a subscription to Pheasants Forever's magazine, Ringnecks.
The hunt will take place Oct. 26 and 27 under the guidance of Montana Breaks Outfitters.
