Skylights drop match to MSU-Billings

The Montana State-Northern volleyball team ran into a buzzsaw in Billings, Thursday night. The MontanaState-Billings Yellowjackets handled the Skylights quite handily, 30-21, 30-19, 30-19, in non-conference volleyball action.

"Everybody held back," said head coach Lisa Handley. "Nobody wanted to step up and take charge. I am looking for someone to lead this team. And it has to happen soon."

Emmy Olson led the Skylights with six kills and a pair of aces, while Hannah Nutting had 23 assists.Northern, 3-6 on the season, will be in action today at the Rocky Mountain College tournament being held at the Fortin Center.
