Skylights Nutting earns weekly Frontier honors

Montana State-Northern sophomore setter Hannah Nutting was named the Frontier Conference setter of the wee.

Nutting, who hails from Billings, returned to her hometown and put up stellar numbers leading the Skylights to a 2-3 record this week.

In five matches last week, Nutting amassed 191 assists, 63 digs, 17 kills, eight aces and five blocks. She also notched her first triple-double in a Skylights victory over the University of Mary in which she had 10 kills, 29 digs and 58 assists.

"She has really come along way," said Skylight head coach Lisa Handley. "She's really matured."

Nutting, a business major, is replacing graduated all-conference setter Gabrielle Chambliss, who holds the single season and career assists records at MSU-Northern.
