MARY WEBSTER, Obituary

CHINOOK Mary Iris Webster, 86, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2002, at her son's home south of Chinook of natural causes.

Graveside services will be Monday in Las Vegas, Nev., at the Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mary Iris was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Floyd and Hazel (Figgins) Riddle on Feb. 22, 1916. She attended schools and graduated from high school in Council Bluffs.

Mary Iris married Andrew "Joe" Kunik in 1935 and they later divorced. She married Wendell E. Webster in 1957. She did bookkeeping and secretarial for her husband.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband in 1991 and her daughter, Hazel "Boots" Carmichael in 2001.

Survivors include her son, Ron Kunik of Chinook; son-in-law, Bill Carmichael of Las Vegas, Nev.; brother, Jack Riddle of Denver; sisters, Marjorie Rockwell of Las Vegas, Nev., Phyliss Knezivich of Council Bluffs; and Hazel Hanley of Denver; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces. She is also survived by step-children, Diane Akins, Marilyn Stolinski, and Tom Webster, all of Omaha, Neb., and Warren Webster of Phoenix, Ariz.; and numerous step-grandchildren.
