Regular season ends for area spikers

The final weekend of the 2002 regular season in Hi-line prep volleyball saw plenty of action and one huge upset by the Blue Sky Eagles.

On Thursday night, the Chester Coyotes knocked off the J-I Rams in Joplin by scores of 25-19, 25-16 and 25-14.

The Coyotes were led by Courtney Fraser with seven kills, six aces and a block. Marrisa Stokes added 18 assists in the victory. The Rams got nine kills and four blocks from Katie O'Neil, and Cari Fusk had 50 assists in the loss.
