HELENA Mary Jane Tuss passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2002, at her daughter's home in Helena.

At her request there will be no visitation.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church at noon Saturday. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Retz Funeral Home in Helena.

Mary Jane was born in St. Paul, Minn., to Jerry and Mary Alice (Dolan) Clifford. She was raised in Anaconda and graduated from St. Peter's High School in 1944.

In 1946 she and Walter Tuss were married at St. Paul's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death in 1986.

Mary Jane is survived by her children, Ken (Vicki) Tuss of Belfry, Sandra (John) Kennedy of Gilbert, Ariz., Mary Jane (Ray) Troyer of Helena, Rick Tuss of Sarasota, Fla., and Paul Tuss and Pam Hillery of Havre; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Tonkovich of Spokane, Wash.; brother, the Rev. Richard L. Clifford, M.M., of Merida, Mexico; sisters-in-law, Gloria Clifford of Yreka, Calif., and Angela Clifford of Spokane, Wash.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and Pete and Agnes Maricich of Anaconda.

Memorials are suggested to Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, Attn. Fr. Richard Clifford Children's Program, Maryknoll, N.Y. 10545; Hospice of St. Peter's, 2475 Broadway, Helena, Mt. 59601; or the charity of the donor's choice.
