Morinia earns weekly Frontier basketball award

Montana State University-Northern basketball player Larry Morinia earned Frontier Conference player of the week honors.

Morinia, a junior from Albuquerque, N.M., tallied 50 points, nine rebounds, five steals and five assists in Northern's 91-86 victory over Dickinson State and its 87-86 triple overtime loss to Minot State.

Morinia was 11-24 from three-point range in the two games while also shooting 50 percent from the field.
