McPherson, Suek earn all-conference honors

A pair of Havre High volleyball players earned Central A All-Conference honors for their performance this season.

Senior Jeanna McPherson earned first team all-conference honor capping a stellar serion season. McPherson averaged a solid 2.73 kill per game for the Ponies. She finished with a total of 240 kills on the season third in the Central A. McPherson also finished with 84 stuff blocks on the season which tied her for first in the Central A.

Fellow Blue Pony senior Sara Suek earned second team all-conference honors as well despite missing almost three weeks of the season with an ankle injury.

Suek averaged 2.62 digs per game while complimenting McPherson as one of the Ponies formidable hitters.

Conference champion Lewistown placed both Dani Buehler and Alicia Mannin on the first team and were joined by Dillon's Robin Russell, Livingston's Lindsey Lyman and Belgrade's Becky Suhr.

Lewistown's Tara Taylor was named the Central A's coach of the year.
