VERA MAE FANNING, Obituary

KENNEWICK, Wash. Vera Mae Fanning, 69, of Kennewick, Wash., died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, at a Kennewick hospital.

Memorial services were held Saturday in Kennewick.

Vera was born in Neosho, Mo., to Frank and Erma (Swadley) Skelton.

Vera was a Christian lady and loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, collecting plates, as well as salt and pepper shakers.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Brian, and two brothers, Boyd and Jerry.

She is survived by her husband, Dallas Fanning; children, Janet and Allen Hill of Wellton, Ariz., David and Diana Fanning of Havre, Ron and Kathy Fanning of Havre, Brenda and Gerald Cook of Marysville, Wash., Karen Stark of Burbank, Wash.: six brothers; one sister; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
