WILLIAM GILLESPIE, Obituary

SAN ANTONIO, Texas William R. "Bill" Gillespie, 81, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, in San Antonio, Texas, of complications from leukemia.

He was born on Aug. 6, 1921, in a log house his father built in Cass County, Minn. At 4, he moved with his family to a ranch 25 miles north of Havre. He attended country schools.

When war broke out, he enlisted in the Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.

Survivors include his sisters, Evelina Yates of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Myrtle Primm of Havre; four children of Texas; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.<...
