CHINOOK Boris D. Lodinoff, 83, a World War II veteran and a retired Burlington Northern Railway worker, died Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, at a Chinook nursing home of natural causes.

Funeral services are Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Havre, with burial in the Highland Cemetery with military honors.

Boris was born Jan. 16, 1919, in Great Falls to Alexander and Bertha (Earles) Lodinoff. He attended schools in Whitefish.

Boris took an apprenticeship with the railroad when he was 16, and transferred to the railroad in Havre after serving in the U.S. Army during World War II. He...
