SUZANNE M. FOX, Obituary

TURNER Suzanne M. Fox, 88, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2002, at a Havre hospital due to natural causes.

Funeral Mass will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with burial following in the Turner Cemetery. Rosary will be recited Thursday at 7 p.m. in the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

Suzanne was born in Radville, Saskatchewan, Canada, to Louie and Francina (Boyer) DeSaye on July 16, 1914. She came to the United States with her parents in 1916 and homesteaded near Turner. She was raised there and attended several schools, including the Ursuline Academy in Great Falls. She graduated from Turner High School in 1934.

Suzanne married Ronald A. Fox on April 18, 1936, in Chinook. They raised both of their children on the family farm and they loved the farm life. She said the happiest years of her life were the ones spent with her dear husband, who helped fulfill all her hopes and dreams. Suzanne was especially fond of her dogs. She was very family-oriented and loved stamp collecting, crocheting and knitting.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald A. Fox, in 1989.

Survivors are: son, Ron Fox of Turner; daughter, Louise Fox Hammer of Pittsburgh, Calif.; brother, Joe DeSaye of Great Falls; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be sent to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Blaine Ambulance II, or the Turner Fire Department.

Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.
