Skylights keep rolling

Canada has been very good to the Montana State University-Northern women's basketball team. The Skylights won their fourth consecutive game - the third straight in Canada - as they routed Mount Royal College, 83-57, Thursday night in Calgary.

The Skylights got a game-high 27 points and seven rebounds from Katie Zilkoski to lead four players in double figures for Northern.

Northern raced to a 39-24 halftime lead and never looked back, outscoring Mount Royal 44-33 in the second half. The Skylights held Mount Royal to an icy 33 percent shooting from the field while shooting close to 50 percent themselves.

Besides Zilkoski, Anna Bateman and Miranda Valley scored 15 points each and Lindsey Buehler chipped in with 11 points off the bench.

Mount Royal was led by Lauren Wallace's 20 points, while Robyn Middlestead added 10.
