Heberly earns Shrine game honors

 


Havre High wide receiver Steve Heberly was named to the 57th East-West Shrine Bowl all-star football game. Heberly, who broke several receiving records during his career with the Ponies, was named as a wide receiver for the East squad.

Heberly, who caught a school-record 48 passes this season for 942 yards while scoring seven touchdowns, was the only Havre player named to the starting roster. He will join Havre High head coach Troy Purcell on the squad. Purcell was named an assistant to coach to Great Falls High's Gregg Dart, who will be the head coach for the East.
