MERLE BIG BOW

ROCKY BOY - Merle Lee Big Bow, Sr., 49 years of age and landscaper, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2003, at his residence in Rocky Boy after a short illness.

A wake was held Friday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Rocky Boy with the Rev. Ruth Votaw officiating. The funeral service was Saturday

morning at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Rocky Boy. A fellowship luncheon was to follow committal rite at the church.

Merle was born Sept. 11, 1953, to Earl and Elsie (Whitford) Big Bow in Rocky Boy. He attended Rocky Boy Elementary School.

On Nov. 24, 1973, Merle married Anna Marie St. Marks at Rocky Boy.

Merle was a landscaper for Leo Hansen.

Merle enjoyed taking care of his yard, planting trees and lawns, fishing, and hunting.

Merle was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Elsie (Whitford) Big Bow, Sr .; and brothers, Earl Big Bow Jr. and Gerald Big Bow.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Marie Big Bow of Rocky Boy; sisters, Mary Big Bow of Pablo, Hazel (Gary) Eagle Man of Rocky Boy, Frances Big Bow of Pocatello, Idaho, and Carol (Billy) Misquito of Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, Canada; sons, Merle (Nichole) Big Bow Jr. of Great Falls, Robert Big Bow of Billings, Brian (Florence) Big Bow of Rocky Boy; daughter, Leah Big Bow of Queensville; and five grandchildren.

Services and arrangements were under the direction of the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
