BART WILSON

Bart O. Wilson, 32, a local farmer, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, west of Big Sandy one mile north on Ihmsen Wells Road. Cause of death is due to a single vehicle accident.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Fifth Avenue Christian Church with the Rev. Jack Rampelberg officiating. Burial is to follow at the

Highland Cemetery. Fellowship will follow the committal rite at the Vets Club.

Bart was born Jan. 13, 1971, to Kenneth Lloyd and Caroline (Becker) Wilson in Havre. Bart attended grade school in Havre and graduated from Havre High School in 1990. He lettered in track and in football. He majored in business administration at Montana State University-Northern in Havre and MSU-Bozeman. Bart was from a farming family. He owned and farmed land west and north of Box Elder. He was heading to his home in Box Elder the morning of his accident.

Bart was a staunch member of the North Winds Athletic Club. He enjoyed racquetball, but most of all the social interaction and travel. He worked hard, and he played hard. Bart had gone to Mexico, California, Washington, and other places for fun, adventure or work. Bart leaves many special friends.

Bart was preceded in death by his grandparents; Roy and Dorothy Wilson and Carl and Lucille Becker; father, Kenneth Lloyd Wilson on July 10, 2001; and uncles, Marvin "Red" Wilson, Alvin "Bud" Wilson, and Ernest "Tiny" Wilson in 2002.

Survivors include his mother, Caroline Wilson; brothers, Brian and Kenneth J. (Marlene) Wilson; sister, Cindy Lu Wilson; and five nieces and nephews, all of Havre.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
