Flatau heads list of all-state hoop players

Several local girls high school basketball players have been named to Montana all-state and all-divisional teams. Heading up the list is Havre High School senior Carrie Flatau, who was named to the Class A all-state team. Flatau led the Central A Conference in scoring this past season with an 18.3-points-per- game scoring average.

Big Sandy's Sheena Darlington and Lindsay Danreuther top the list of several Hi-Line girls who were named to the Class C all-state team. Darlington, who averaged 23 points and 11 rebounds per game and recently committed to Montana State University-Northern to play basketball next year, and Danreuther led the Pioneers to a 26-1 record this season, as well as a third-place finish at the Class C girls state tournament in Butte.

Joining the Big Sandy pair is Box Elder senior Tami Infante. Infante led the Lady Bears to second-place finishes at both the District 9C tournament and Northern C divisional tournament while averaging 19 points and five rebounds per game along the way. Blue Sky senior Jessica Patrick and Sunburst's Carly Kleinert were also named to the Northern C division of the Class C all-state team.
