Havre Public Schools Superintendent Kirk Miller is one of five applicants chosen to interview for the position of superintendent of Billings Public Schools later this month.
"It's not that I want to leave Havre," Miller said this morning. "I'm taking a look at opportunities in a school district that has 3,000 employees, 15,350 students, and a $100 million budget," he said, adding that 10 percent of Montana's students are in the Billings district.
"What I see is that I would have an opportunity to provide leadership and direction for a large number of students," Miller said.
