CORINNE THE BOY obituary

ROCKY BOY - Corinne Joyce The Boy, 36, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at Lorena The Boy's residence in Box Elder of complications from diabetes.

The wake service was Tuesday evening at the Rocky Boy Senior Center. The funeral service is 10 a.m. Thursday at the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Rocky Boy

with the Rev. Pete Guthneck officiating. Her burial will be at the Rocky Boy Cemetery.

Corinne was born July 22, 1966, to William James The Boy Sr. and Judith Mae Windy Boy. She attended schools in Rocky Boy and the Chemewa Indian School in Salem, Ore. She lived in Seattle, Wash., for 13 years before returning to Rocky Boy in 1999.

Corinne was a home maker all her life. She enjoyed attending Native American Church Ceremonies, doing puzzles, and cross word puzzles. She also enjoyed spending time with children. Corinne was easygoing, outgoing, and very generous.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith Mae Windy Boy; sister, April Stamper; grandfather, Roger Windy Boy; aunts, Alma Windy Boy and Lorinne Wood.

Survived by her father, William The Boy Sr. of Fort Belknap; daughter, Stormy The Boy of Seattle, Wash .; sons, Enrique The Boy of Seattle, Wash., Emmanual The Boy of Kent, Wash., and Skylar The Boy of Rocky Boy; sisters, Lorena The Boy and Sandra The Boy, both of Rocky Boy; brothers, Henry Webster and William The Boy Jr., both of Rocky Boy.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of the Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
