DOROTHY EHLANG obituary

Dorothy Mae Ehlang, 68, died April 16, 2003, after fighting a courageous battle with lupus.

Services will be on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Cremation or Funeral Gallery in Billings. Services will also be held at Edwards Funeral Home on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Chinook.

Dorothy was born in Cleveland to James and Elizabeth Dunbar on Oct. 14, 1934. She attended Peoples' Creek School until sixth grade and graduated from Chinook High School in 1952.

Dorothy married Leonard A. Ehlang on Nov. 20, 1955.

Dorothy enjoyed sports, especially cheering for John Elway and the Denver Broncos. She had a way with words. She wrote several poems on many different subjects.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elizabeth Dunbar; brothers, James Dunbar and George Dunbar; and sister, Rozella Dunbar.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard Ehlang; sons, Daniel Ehlang and Michael (Shirley) Ehlang, both of Billings; and two grandchildren of Billings; brother, Joseph (Judy) Dunbar of Chinook; sisters, Margie Wright of Meridian, Idaho, Helen Bley of Great Falls and Betty (Al) Sanford of Casper, Wyo., and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Big Sky Hospice.
