TED JENNESKENS obituary

CHINOOK - Ted Jenneskens, 85, died unexpectedly on April 26, 2003, at his residence in Chinook.

A Vigil service will be held tonight at 7 at Saint Gabriel's Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Saint Gabriel's Catholic Church with burial following in the Kuper Memorial Cemetery.

Ted was born in Weeze, Germany, to Antonius and Mechtilde (Jansen) Jenneskens on Oct. 2, 1917.

Ted married Helen Thelen on Sept. 28, 1943, in Germany. They moved to Chinook on Feb. 10, 1949, to work on his uncle's farm south of Lohman. Ted worked on other farms in the Chinook area befor...
