Glenda Caroline St. Dennis, 41, died unexpectedly Saturday, April 26, 2003, at her residence in Havre.

Cremation has taken place. There will be a private gathering of friends and family at a later time.

Glenda was born Feb. 17, 1962, to Arthur and Charlotee (Bray) Thelander in Bellingham,Wash. She grew up in Bellinghamand Cordova, Alaska, and attended schools there. After school Glenda went to work on commercial fishing boats, in canneries, and as a horse wrangler.

Glenda married Joe St. Dennis in 1995 in Havre after the couple had been going together for 17 years. They moved to Havre to be closer to Joe's family.

Glenda loved to be in the outdoors. She was a hard worker. She enjoyed planting flowers and had a knack for growing beautiful plants. She was an animal lover, especially dogs. She would always take in homeless animals and people. She was generous, kind and fun-loving.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her father, Arthur, in 1992; and a brother-in-law, Rusty St. Dennis, in 2000.

Glenda is survived by her husband, Joe St. Dennis of Havre; mother, Charlotte Bray of Cordova; sister, Faith Barnes of Cordova; brother, Patrick Barnes of Cordova; five nieces and numerous cousins; mother-in-law, Essie St. Dennis of Havre; father-in-law, Russell St. Dennis of Bosnia; sister-in-law, Jamie St. Dennis of Havre; grandmother-in-law, Rose Keck of Havre.

Memorials may be made to the Havre Animal Shelter, 520 Fourth Street, Havre, MT 59501. Arrangements are under the direction of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
