N. CATHERINE BRICKER obituary

MOORE - N. Catherine Bricker, 88, longtime Moore area resident, died Friday, May 2, 2003, at a nursing center.

Funeral services will be at the Creel Funeral Chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Moore. Burial will be at the Moore Cemetery.

Catherine was born in Missoula to George and Ida (Richardson) Walford on Oct. 25, 1914. She received her schooling in Missoula.

Catherine was married to David Eugene Bricker in Missoula on March 25, 1939. They celebrated 61 years of marriage before his death in April 2000. They farmed in the Moore area since 1941.

Catherine was a member of the Moore United Methodist Church, the Moore Womens Club, and the Vesper Chapter No. 83 O.E.S. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing and crafts. She was an accomplished seamstress and an excellent baker and cook.

Catherine was preceded in death by a daughter, Priscilla Martin; three brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include her sons, Earl (Debbie) Bricker and Charles (Mary) Bricker, all of Moore, and Robert (Darlene) Bricker of Havre; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Moore United Methodist Church or to the Shriners Hospital for Children.

Arrangements are by the Creel Funeral Home.
