New Rocky Boy school election delayed for weeks

Rocky Boy Schools has postponed a new school board election scheduled for Tuesday to conform with state notification requirements, Rocky Boy Schools district clerk Greg Holmlund said this morning.

The new election date has not yet been set, but it will not take place for about seven weeks, Holmlund said.

Last Tuesday's school board election results were scrapped by the Rocky Boy school board on Friday after it was determined that as many as 20 school district voters who live in Chouteau County had been turned away from the polls.
