Northstars defeat upset-minded Comet squad


For five innings the Havre Comets we're doing the unthinkable, they had their older cohorts, the Havre Northstars, down. But a game is usually nine innings and in the remaining four innings the Northstars crushed any hopes of a Comet upset winning 14-5 Wednesday night at Legion Park.

A pair of bad innings haunted the Comets in the game. The Northstars scored five runs in the top of the sixth and five more in the top of ninth to put the game away.
