U.S. Air Force Lt. Norbert A. King II is the son of Norbert and Elena King of Havre. He moved to Havre when his father was assigned to the Havre air base in 1986. He attended Cottonwood School, Havre Middle School, and graduated from Havre High School in 1996. King was a member of the Blue Pony football team and the Northstar baseball team. After high school, he attended Carroll College in Helena and played for the Fighting Saints for four years. He graduated in 2000.
