GREAT FALLS - Marjorie Mary Gruber, 83, of Great Falls died Tuesday, July 8, 2003, of natural causes.

A memorial service was scheduled for 11 a.m. today at Sts. Peter and Paul. A private family burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 29, 1919, at Great Falls. She grew up and attended schools in Great Falls and graduated from Great Falls High School. She attended McPhail School of Music and Dance in Minneapolis, Minn. She taught dance and music with her sister, Virginia, at the Klick School of Music and Dance.

She married Joseph Gruber in 1955. She worked as bookkeeper for Carl Weismann and Sons for 37 years. She retired in 1985.

She was a member of St. Ann's Cathedral, Catholic Daughters of America and Elks Club.

Her life was her home and her husband and she enjoyed traveling. She especially enjoyed celebrations with the Zeller family and family visits to Bozeman.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Gruber of Great Falls; sister, Virginia Anderson of Boise, Idaho; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the Gift of Life.

O'Connor Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
