Drug dealer sentenced in sexual assault case

A Rocky Boy man serving more than a decade in prison for a drug conviction has been sentenced in connection with a 2000 sexual assault.

Lawrence Joe Bauer Jr., 24, was sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court in Great Falls by Judge Sam E. Haddon to eight years and 10 months in prison on a charge of sexual abuse. Bauer was found guilty by a jury earlier this year. The sentence will run concurrently with a 14-year sentence Bauer received in connection with a methamphetamine conspiracy.
