Carli M. Werk, 9, of Gilbert, Ariz., died on Sunday, July 20, 2003, the morning of her sister's birthday, at her home in Gilbert following nearly two years of illness.

Carli was born on July 8, 1994, to Ken and Donna Werk at Havre.

She enjoyed school and was a second-grad-er at Finley Farms Elementary

School in Gilbert. Her favorite periods were science, recess and lunch.

Carli, who was feisty and
