CARLI WERK obituary

Carli M. Werk, 9, of Gilbert, Ariz., died on Sunday, July 20, 2003, the morning of her sister's birthday, at her home in Gilbert following nearly two years of illness.

Carli was born on July 8, 1994, to Ken and Donna Werk at Havre.

She enjoyed school and was a second-grad-er at Finley Farms Elementary

School in Gilbert. Her favorite periods were science, recess and lunch.

Carli, who was feisty and

good-hearted, loved a variety of arts and crafts, especially drawing and painting and writing in her many journals. Her interests and hobbies included swimming, riding bikes, going to theme parks, shopping for toys and clothes, and just being with her family. Her favorite foods were pizza, tacos, candy of many sorts, and especially barbecues.

Carli and her sister, Mallori, and brother, Philip, held a very close and special bond as sisters and brother.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Clyde Werk Sr. of Havre and her godmother, Virginia Goggins of Havre.

Survivors include her parents, Ken and Donna Werk of Gilbert, Ariz.; sister, Mallori Werk of Gilbert; brother, Philip Fox of Hays; grandmothers, Florence Fox and Gertrude Werk, both of Hays; great-grandmother, Mildred Christensen of Hays; grandfather, Jerry R. Lively of Muskogee, Okla.; godfather, Hubert Goggins of Havre; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
