MICHAEL BRADY obituary

Michael James Brady, 58, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2003, at a Havre hospital due to liver failure.

Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Fifth Avenue Christian Church with the Rev. Rowlie Hutton officiating. A fellowship will be held at the church immediately following the service.

Michael was born on Nov. 6, 1944, in Miles City to Daniel and Milldred (Dorr) Brady. Mike was raised and educated in Miles City

and graduated from Sacred Heart High School there. He entered into the U.S. Navy in June of 1962 and was honorably discharged in September of 1965 as a YN3.

In 1962 he married Janice Rae Frette in Idaho Falls, Idaho. In 1965 he went on to further his education at Eastern Montana College in Billings. He graduated with his bachelor's degree and then his master's degree in guidance and counseling.

In 1970 he began working at the Havre Middle School and had worked there for the last 35 years as an educator and counselor. He retired in 2001.

Mike enjoyed working in his yard, antiques, sports, and timing football games for the Montana State University-Northern Lights and Havre High School Blue Ponies.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Brady in 1962.

Survivors include his wife, Janice of Havre; sons, Craig Brady and Daniel Brady, both of Sacramento, Calif .; one grandson; mother, Milldred Dunn of Missoula; sisters, Susan Vos of Aurora, Ill., and Kathleen Boelke of Frenchtown; sister-in-law, Rhonda (Michael) Schmitz of Miles City; brother-in-law, Kent (Robin) Frette of Owatonna, Minn .; mother- and father-in-law, Raymond and Noreen Frette of Miles City; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials in Michael's honor may be made to Montana State University-Northern Foundation, P.O. Box 1691, Havre, MT 59501, or to a memorial of one's choice.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
