HHS golf teams sweep windy Havre Invitational

Despite cold and windy conditions at Beaver Creek Golf Course, both the Havre High girls and boys golf teams took advantage of home course conditions en route to capturing first place honors at the Havre High Golf Invitational Saturday morning.

As expected, the Blue Pony boys team ran away with the tournament by a 15-stroke margin over conference foe Lewistown. Junior varsity teams from CMR and Great Falls High finished third and fourth place respectively. Havre High JV teams came in fifth and sixth place followed by Browning in seventh.
