DONNA MAGIS Obituary

Donna Louise Magis, 39, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003, at a Havre hospital due to complications after a long illness.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Jude Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert D. Grosch officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery. A

fellowship luncheon will be held immediately following the graveside services at the St. Jude Parish Center.

Donna was born on Oct. 10, 1963, to Donald and Louise (Webb) Kenny in Havre. She was raised in Havre and graduated from Havre High School in 1981. She attended Northern Montana College and obtained her associate nursing degree in 1984. She worked for the Big Sandy Medical Center, at Las Cruces, N.M., Columbus and Deaconess hospitals in Great Falls, the Great Falls Clinic and for the last six years at Northern Montana Hospital. Donna was an independent contract Health Care Facility Surveyor for the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services. She married Robert Magis June 26, 1989, in Great Falls. The couple later divorced.

Donna was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.

Her hobbies were following her son's sports career, entertaining friends, enjoying old houses and pets. She especially loved Christmas.

She was preceded in death by her brother Greg Kenny.

Donna is survived by her son, Christopher Magis of Havre; parents, Donald and Louise Kenny of Havre; brother, Don Kenny of Chester; special friend, Dale Hofeldt of Chinook; and aunts, uncles and many cousins, friends and co-workers.

Memorials in Donna's honor may be made to the MSU-Northern Nursing Program.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
